Charitable Gift Annuities

More and more individuals are using charitable gift annuities to provide lifetime income at a fixed rate of return—and to make a substantial gift to FaithWorks in the future. The Georgia United Methodist Foundation administers and manages all charitable gift annuities designated to FaithWorks programs.

You can establish a charitable gift annuity with as little as $10,000.

A simple contract provides fixed annual income for the rest of your life—or the life of another beneficiary you might select. You may be eligible for an income tax deduction for your initial gift, and part of the income you receive each year also may be tax-deductible. If you use appreciated assets to fund your charitable gift annuity, you may also avoid some capital gains taxes.
